    A paste made by mixing the juice of holy basil leaves and sandalwood powder in rose water is also highly effective in treating pimples.
    A very effective way of preventing the eruption of pimples is to apply cucumber pulp or juice on the face every day and washing it off after it dries. Cucumber naturally moisturizes the skin and therefore keeps away pimples.
    When orange peels are pounded and combined with water, an effective home treatment for pimples is created. Apply to affected areas and watch the results.
    If you rub raw garlic on problem areas several times a day, you can clear up skin. You may also eat three seeds of raw garlic once daily for a month to see results. The garlic seeds purify the blood, which aids in keeping pimples at bay.
    Another remedy is to apply a paste made by mixing a grated apple and some honey on the face and leaving it on for 15-20 minutes. After this, wash the face with warm water, followed by a cold rinse.
    If you use make-up, make it a point to wash your face properly before going to bed every night. Also observe if your skin feels irritated on the application of any particular cosmetic product, and if it does, stop using that product immediately.
